Communication Methods

            With the number of communication methods availbe today, it’s easy to stay in touch with your friends and family back home. You can easily find internet cafes to communicate with them by emails or instant messages. Besides, you can use your computer or laptop and connect it to internet.

            If you are traveling by car, it would be wise to have a cal phone with you in case of emergency. You can go to any grocery store and buy a prepaid, no contract cell phone for a reasonable rate. You can add more talking time to the phone with a credit card.

            To use a pay phone, you will need plenty of coins ( no pennies ) before you start calling. A local call in most cities cost 50 cents. Long distance calls will be much more expensive. A better option might be to buy a prepaid phone card instead of coin. Instructions are printed on the cards. But if you plan on making a lot of calls, the prepaid call phone option is much better than the cards.

            American states and cities have many different “area code” for phone service. There could be numerous area codes within a single metropolitan area. These area codes are lisedin all phone books. If you are going to call a long distance number, you’ll need to dial “1” and then the area code followed by the number.

Anda dapat pergi ke toko dan membeli pulsa prabayar tanpa masa aktif dari kartu tersebut dengan harga yang wajar. Anda dapat menambah waktu berbicara tanpa khawatir tentang pembayaran melalui kartu kredit.

The use of Parachutes (Penggunaan Parasut)

THE USE OF PARACHUTES

The use of parachutes was prohibited until the late years of World War I. Nonetheless, some pilots used them during 1916 onwards, without official permission in order to save their lives. The reason being that once the plane was beyond control, it seemed a waste to let themselves die. The air services soon realized that it was better to lose a few planes than to lose wel-trained and excellent pilots. It was in 1918 that the US Air Force formed its first Parachutes Sectsion at the Wilbur Wight Field. It was then that, J. Floyd Smith and some others suggested the use of the ‘Pack On The Back’, which had the pulling cord or ringlie . It used a 30 feet diameter silk canopy. In 1919. Leslie Irvin made the first jump using this mechanism (Model A), and made a successful landing after free-falling from 1,500 feet at 80 miles per hour. After which, the Irving Air Chute Company was formed. The ‘model A’ evolved ito model ‘S’ and was called the ‘C-9’ canopy, which stayed in the military until many years later

PENGGUNAAN PARASUT

Penggunaan parasut telah dilarang sampai akhir tahun perang dunia pertama. Meskipun demikian, beberapa pilot tetap menggunakannya selama tahun 1916 dan seterusnya tanpa izin resmi dalam tugas untuk menyelamatkan keselamatan diri mereka. Alasan untuk melakukan itu dalam kendali mereka sangat disayangkan membiarkan para pilot mati sia-sia, layanan udara menyadari lebih baik kehilangan beberapa pesawat daripada kehilangan pilot-pilot terbaik mereka.
